Located in Tiong baru where lots of delicious food are available, Drips Bakery cafe offer fantastic tarts and pastries that one can keep on eating. Coupled with aromatic coffees and teas, definitely a must for those who have sweet tooth.

Wide variety of tarts, pastries and cakes to choose from. Weekend special are Lemon Meringue tarts and the bread pudding which are recommended by the shop staff. Mixed berries and strawberries tarts are also popular as well.

Cakes are also available if you find that the tarts and pastries are a bit too sweet for you

Wide space and comfortable environment for chill out with friends and family

Food and drink items available for choosing

Mocha - Nice coffee, what so special about this is that they use a transparent cup which the inner wall is coated with chocolate syrup. It makes me wanted to stir to melt all the chocolate syrup and drink it right after stirring. Well balance between the chocolate and coffee.

Lemon Meringue tart - Well, this is their weekend special tart. The tangy Meringue are homemade while the tart crust is firm enough to withhold the filling. Berries are fresh and juicy. Overall lemon taste is not too sour, but i find it slightly below the normal sourness which i can take. I find this tart acceptable and not too disappointing for a weekend special

Strawberry Tart - I must say that the tart is very striking and attractive to me because of the red from the strawberries and berries. However, look can be deceiving. I find the tart taste abit bland, but i think that is to counter the sweetness of the berries

Verdict: 3.5 / 5

Overall, i find that the tarts are delicious and good. I can have more of it. However, i find that the price is a bit steep for the food and the drinks. It is still a nice place to chill out and have desserts with your friends and family members. What's more, there are plenty of food choice to choose from in this surrounding, just drop by if you have a space for tarts and coffee.

Amy Heritage Nyonya Cuisine Restaurant

Amy Heritage Nyonya Cuisine served rice in traditional baskets and the dishes are charmed with the freshness of herbs cooked with meat and seafood to soups. The food and service here is outstanding no matter what you have you will be blown away.

All sort of cooking awards being display here. Show how skilled the cook is.

Kuek Pie Tee -  the filling is shredded turnips and carrots, topped with tomatoes, eggs and spices for colourfully appearance. The crust is delicious and crunchy. Abit oily thou.

Chin Chow, lemon tea, barley (Left to right)

Fishball soup - tasty broth, fishballs are chewy and bouncy

Ikan asam - Fish cooked in assam sauce. The sauce is sweet and sour, very delicious with you eat this with the white rice.

Ayam buah keluak - It is a must order dish here. The chicken meat are braised and cooked with sweet sauce/ dark soy sauce with buah keluak. It is not spicy but tasty.

otak-otak, a popular blend of fish, coconut milk, chilli paste, galangal, and herbs wrapped in a banana leaf

Chap Chye (mixed vegetables stew)

White Rice served in basket

Verdict: 4 / 5

I like the food here especially the assam fish. The food here are made of fresh ingredients and taste delicious. However, you must remember to book for a seat if you intend to dine here so as to secure a seat. If not you might be disappointed as the restaurant might be fully booked especially during weekend night or public holiday. Walk in is not guarantee too as the ingredients brought are based on the number of table reserved, did not really cater for walk in unless there are cancellation of seats.

Klebang Coconut Shake - Melaka

Klebang Original Coconut Shake

The rumoured best Coconut Shake in Malacca. It is the best drink to have under the heaty weather. Lots of people visit this stall just to have a taste of this wonderful drink. A foolproof landmark would be a Caltex petrol station in the direction from Melaka Town, the Klebang Original Coconut Milkshake is right before the station on your right on the other side of the road.

Lots of small snacks for you to choose from to go with the coconut shake. Mee Goreng, Bee Hoon and Nasi Lemak. There are also finger foods available to choose, mostly are malay delights.

Old School Nasi Lemak (RM1.20 per pack) - This is like what we used to eat when we are young in the 90s. Very simple rice with sambal chilis and some ikan bilis mixed in the chilis that will satisfy you while you are having your coconut shake

Pure white coconut shake, the drink was like milkshake, milk and ice crushed together to form the shake. Meanwhile vanilla ice cream is added on top of the drink to make it more sweet. The drink itself is already sweet due to the added milk. It was a refreshing, sweet and creamy taste. Bits of coconut flesh can be found in the shake itself . The flavours are well blended together and the coconut freshness is more pronounced.

Coconut Shake (RM 2) - This special drink comes with a scoop of ice cream. Normal shake without ice cream is RM1.50. The ice cream is vanilla, i will strongly suggest all to try with the ice cream version.

Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup 万里香沙爹朱津

万里香沙爹朱津

The famous satay celup in Malacca. It is one of the must visit place in Malacca. Expect long queue if you intend to eat at this place. You can smell the aroma of the satay sauce before you reach the restaurant. There are 2 restaurants of Ban Lee Siang, just beside each other. Both are open by brothers. I visited this outlet as there are more people queuing. Hahaha Lots of variety of ingredients available for choosing. Each ingredient are skewed by satay stick and per stick cost RM0.70. Depend on what you are choosing, so choose your food wisely.

Kangkong and Tau Kee

Tau Pok and Tau Kee

Beancurd, mushrooms, Otah in pandan (Nice, must take and try), hotdog, cheese beancurd, squid and cuttlefish

Bai Cai, chicken meat, liver, clams, prawn (must take too, fresh), fishballs

Squid cost 5 satay sticks

just dump whatever you want in this pot and let it cook.

The whole pot is satay sauce, it is just like a hot pot but using satay sauce instead of soup. The sauce need frequent stirring if not the bottom will be burned which will spoil the whole pot and the peanut crunches will be lumpy. Overall taste is sweet and spicy. Taste normal to me. But the place is very hot and crowded, i didnt really enjoy much plus eating such a hot pot in a hot place really put me off. Oh, one more thing, the pot is reused for the next customers, if you dun mind such practice then come and have a taste of it. If you found any thing that are non food items you can ask to change the whole pot. Dont worry and enjoy the satay sauce!!

Opening Hour:
Mon.-Sun. 17:00-00:00

Price: RM 0.70 per stick
